Counselling can be short term, medium or long term....
Short term therapy focuses on a particular need for change, with intensive focus on one aspect of your life and ‘homework’ in between sessions;
Medium term therapy helps you gain perspective on a particularly difficult period of life, and supports you in recovering and making choices;
Long term therapy encourages you to learn more about yourself – so that you can change patterns of behaviour, and resolve painful experiences.
